Laurel Wiers, LMFT, Director
Laurel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been practicing in Southeastern CT for over 20 years. She received her BS in Communication Disorders from Calvin College and her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University. She works with couples, families, and indiviudals. She treats depression, grief, anxiety and women's issues. She specializes in treating individuals and couples who have experienced infidelity. She is the author of Betrayed, Not Broken (Morgan James Publishing, 2015) and contributing author to Sucessful Living and Successful Marriage. Laurel is a certified Gottman educator and an A.R.T (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) therapist for clients struggling with PTSD.
Lisa Maloney, LMFT
Lisa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her BA in Psychology from Eastern CT State University and her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern CT State University. Lisa specializes in sexual abuse recovery, grief issues and anger management. Lisa works with individuals, couples and families. She is the Executive Director of CareNet Pregnancy Resource Center of SE CT.
Mark Johnson, LCSW
Mark Johnsonis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of social work degree from UCONN and a Masters of Divinity Degreee from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. He also has as BA degree in Speech Communications from Cedarville University. He serves as a Chaplain in the Connecticut Army National Guard and is employed with the Deprtment of Veterans Affairs working with combat veterans. Mark works with individuals, couples and adolescents. He treats anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and adoption issues.
Kathy Skrabacz, LADC
Kathy is a Licensed and Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. She received her MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford. She has over 20 years of experience helping adults and children (ages 10 and up) address addictions. She treats relationship issues, sexual abuse, recovery concerns and emotional stress that stems from growing up in a home where unhealthy patterns of behavior were taught. Kathy recognizes how such issues affect family members and offers them support as well.
Priscilla Liebenthal, LMFT
Priscilla is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Rhode Island. She works with couples, families and individuals with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma recovery, couples dynamics and parenting strategies. She is a state-certified clinician for Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
